G. L. c. 66 § 1O (b ); see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(2). Specifically, Ms. Maya Shaffer of the Bay State Examiner requested a copy of: 1. The video of incident number 2014000022503 on 12/31/14 when officer Holt used force against a man in custody who refused to remove his pants that resulted in the man being taken to the hospital; 2. The Internal Affairs report of the incident; and 3. Any reports explaining or investigation the use of force in this incident. Subsequent to the intervention of my staff, Ms. Shaffer informed this office that a response has been provided by the Department. Accordingly, I will consider this administrative appeal closed.
