The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Shawn A. Williams Supervisor ofR ecords December 17, 2015 SPRlS/866 Ms. Lorraine A.G. Tarrow, Esq. Office of the Attorney General One Ashburton Place Boston, MA 02108 Dear Attorney Tarrow: I have received the petition of Bodhisattva Skandha appealing the response of the Office ofthe Attorney General (AGO) to his request for public records. G. L. c. 66 § 10(b); see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(2). Specifically, Mr. Skandha requested all documents which entitle a specifically identified individual to claim that he is a Special Assistant Attorney General. You responded to Mr. Skandha and included documents that were responsive to his request. Mr. Skandha later asked a question related to the responsive records. Mr. Skandha's appeal is based upon the nomesponse to a question posed to the AGO. Under the Public Records Law, a public employee is not required to answer questions, or do research, or create documents in response to questions. Whereas the AGO has properly provided responsive records, I will consider this administrative appeal closed.
