The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Shawn A. Williams Supervisor ofR ecords March 10, 2016 SPR16/142 Mr. Glenn Rooney, Esq. Department of State Police Office of the Chief Legal Counsel 470 Worcester Road Framingham MA, 01702 Dear Attorney Rooney I have received the petition of John Rousseau appealing the nonresponse ofthe Department of State Police (Department) to his request for public records. G. L. c. 66 § 1O (b ); see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(2). Specifically, Mr. Rousseau requested copies of an investigator's report. The basis of Mr. Rousseau's appeal is that at the time of his petition he asserts the Department had not responded to his request. In a March 10, 2016 telephone conversation with a member of the Public Records Division staff you confirmed that the Department did provide Mr. Rousseau a responsive record. Whereas this matter was opened based upon the Department's alleged non-response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed.
