Gillis Town of Easton-Town Clerk 136 Elm Street Easton, MA 02356 Dear Mr. Gillis: I have received the petition of William Anderson appealing the nomesponse of the Town of Easton (Town) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66 § 10(b); see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(2). Specifically, Mr. Anderson requested "copies of any emails" pertaining to "people asking (Dan Murphy) to come speak about the override." Having received no response, Mr. Anderson petitioned this office. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of my staff, this office was notified that a response was provided, dated June 22, 2016. Whereas this matter was opened based upon the Town's failure to provide a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Anderson may appeal the substantive nature of the Town's response within ninety (90) days.
