The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Shawn A. Williams Supervisor ofR ecords July 25, 2016 SPR16/512, SPR16/513 Mr. Julian M. Suso Town Manager Town of Falmouth 59 Town Hall Square Falmouth, MA 02540 Dear Mr. Suso: I have received the petition of Mr. Jonathan Snyder appealing the nomesponse ofthe Town of Falmouth (Town) to his requests for public records. G. L. c. 66 § IO(b); see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(2). Specifically, Mr. Snyder made two separate requests; one to Mr. Doug Jones, Chairman of the Board of Selectman (SPR16/512), and the other to yourself (SPR16/513) in which he requested records related to the nomination and appointment of members of the Board of Registrars, copies of meeting agendas and minutes for specified meetings of the Board of Selectmen, as well as records related to the appointment and oaths of office for members of the Board of Registrars. Having received no response, Mr. Snyder petitioned this office. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of my staff, this office was notified that a response was provided to both requests dated July 20, 2016. Whereas this matter was opened based upon the Town's failure to provide a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Snyder may appeal the substantive nature of the Town's response within ninety (90) days.
