KP Law,P.C. 101 Arch Street Boston, MA 02110 Dear Attorney Monahan: I have received the petition of Bob Murchison appealing the response of the Town of Sherborn (Town) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66 § 10(b); see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(2). Specifically, on July 6, 2016, Mr. Murchison requested a copy of the phone bills for all cell phones used by two specifically identified persons conducting business for the Town. The Town provided responsive records and Mr. Murchison appealed, believing other records may exist. It has come to my attention that, based upon communications with an attorney on my staff that the Town intends to provide Mr. Murchison a revised response. Accordingly, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed with the proviso that such response be provided to Mr. Murchison. A copy of any such response must be provided to this office. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. Mr. Murchison may appeal the substantive nature of the Town's revised response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(2).
