Williams Supervisor ofR ecords September 1, 2016 SPR16/656 Ms. Hillary Harris Town of Westport- Police Department 818 Main Road Westport, MA 02790 Dear Ms. Harris: I have received the petition of Lisa Zullo appealing the response of the Town of Westport -Police Department (Town) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66 § 1O (b ); see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(2). Specifically, Ms. Zullo requested a number of arrest records. In your initial response you denied this request, citing the Criminal Offender Record Information Act. G. L. c. 4, § 7(26)(a); G. L. 6 § 167 (e). Thereupon Ms. Zullo petitioned this office. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of my staff, this office was notified by you that a revised response will be provided. With the proviso that Town will provide a revised response without delay I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Zullo may appeal the substantive nature ofthe Town's response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(2).
