Williams Supervisor ofR ecords August 31, 2016 SPR16/657 Ms. Jackie Cook Lowell Police Department JFK Civic Center 50 Arcand Drive Lowell, MA 01852 Dear Ms. Cook: I have received the petition of Brian Smith appealing the response of the Lowell Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66 § 10(b); see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(2). This response was provided as a result of a previous order from this office. See SPR 16/536 Determination ofthe Supervisor ofRecords (July 29, 2016). Mr. Smith appealed the Department's response inquiring as to whether all responsive documents had been provided or if any had been withheld. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of my staff, this office was notified that a further response was provided, dated August 30, 2016. In this letter to Mr. Smith, Keeper of the Records Sgt.
