Repucci Town of Ipswich -Utilities Department PO Box 151 272 High Street Ipswich, MA 01938 Dear Ms. Repucci: I have received the petition of Larry Jordan appealing the response of the Town of Ipswich- Utilities Department (Town) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66 § 10(b); see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(2). Specifically, Mr. Jordan requested a number of records pertaining to "water bills." Initially you had provided a response denying his request for. Thereupon Mr. Jordan petitioned this office. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of my staff, this office was notified by you that a revised response will be provided. With the proviso that Town will provide a revised response without delay I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Jordan may appeal the substantive nature of the Town's response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(2). To assist in requesting and responding to requests for public records please refer to our publication, A Guide to the Massachusetts Public Records Law.
