The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Shawn A. Williams Supervisor ofR ecords September 7, 2016 SPR16/691 Ms. Patricia Snow EOPSS-Department of Correction Division of Human Resources P.O. Box 946, Industries Drive Norfolk, MA 02056 Dear Ms. Snow: I have received the petition of William Murray appealing the response of the Department of Correction, Division of Human Resources (Division) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66 § 10(b); see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(2). Specifically, Mr. Murray requested any records related to a meeting held in March, 2016, as well as redacted copies of "EPRS" evaluations for "the most recent evaluation period, redacted that will reflect who was the evaluator." Mr. Murray appealed your response to this request. In his petition Mr. Murray noted that he is not interested in obtaining copies of any evaluations that could disclose the identity of the person evaluated. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of my staff, this office was notified that a revised response will be provided. I will therefore consider this administrative appeal closed with the proviso that a revised response is provided, prepared in a manner consistent with this order, the Public Records Law and its Regulations. A copy of any such response must be provided to this office. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at pre@sec.state.ma.us. Mr. Murray may appeal the substantive nature of the Division's response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(2).
