Friedland Executive Secretary Board of Selectmen Town of Webster 350 Main Street Webster, MA 01570 Dear Mr. Bourque: I have received the petition of Gail M. Arsenault, appealing the nonresponse of The Town of Webster-Board of Selectmen (Board) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66 § lO(b); see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(2). Specifically, Ms. Arsenault requested a "copy ofthe minutes of the Board of Selectmen meeting held on August 8, 2016." Having received no response, Ms. Arsenault petitioned this office. Subsequent to the opening of this appeal I was informed that you intend to review Ms. Arsenault's request and provide a written response. I wish to thank you for your cooperation and your prompt response to our queries in this matter. Whereas this matter was opened based upon the Board's failure to provide a written response, and further whereas you intend to provide a written response, I will consider this appeal closed with the proviso that the Board's response is provided, prepared in a manner consistent with the Public Records Law and its Access Regulations.
