The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Shawn A. Williams Supervisor ofR ecords September 12, 2016 SPR16/727 Ms. Mary Overholt Town of Webster Conservation Commission 350 Main Street Webster, MA 01570 Dear Ms. Overholt: I have received the petition of Gail Arsenault appealing the nonresponse of the Webster Conservation Commission (Commission) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66 § 1 O(b ); see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(2). Specifically, in emails to Board of Selectmen Executive Secretary Courtney M. Friedland dated August 17 and August 19, 2016 Ms. Arsenault requested information regarding "the official date and time posting of the Webster Conservation Commission meeting minutes for the June 12, 2016 on the Webster website." Having received no response Ms. Arsenault appealed. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of my staff, this office was notified that Ms. Friedland forwarded this request to you on September 8, 2016 and you provided a response to Ms. Arsenault on that same date. Whereas this matter was opened based upon the Commission's failure to provide a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Arsenault may appeal the substantive nature of the Commission's response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(2). cc: Ms. Gail M. Arsenault, M.Ed., C.A.G.S.
