Williams Supervisor ofR ecords September 30, 2016 SPR16/771 Ms. Audrey Coulter City of Boston - Mayor's Office One City Hall Square, Suite 500 Boston, MA 02201 Dear Ms. Coulter: I have received the petition of Kyle Clauss, of Boston Magazine, appealing the nomesponse of The City of Boston-Mayor's Office (Office) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66 § 10(b); see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(2). Specifically, Mr. Clauss requested all written or electronic communication, including but not limited to texts, emails, memos, and documents, both referencing a specifically identified restaurant chain as well as those shared between city employees and the restaurant chain. Having received no response, Mr. Clauss petitioned this office. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of my staff, this office was notified that a response was provided, dated September 29, 2016. Whereas this matter was opened based upon the Office's failure to provide a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Clauss may appeal the substantive nature ofthe Office's response within ninety (90) days.
