Williams Supervisor ofR ecords October 14,2016 SPR16/810 Ms. Jennifer Samson Legal Assistant Boston Police Department Office of the Legal Advisor One Schroeder Plaza, 4th Floor Boston, MA 02120 Dear Ms. Samson: I have received the petition of Rodolfo Carr appealing the nomesponse of the Boston Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66 § 1O (b ); see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(2). Specifically, Mr. Carr requested records regarding specifically identified warrants and individuals. Having received no response, Mr. Carr petitioned this office. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of my staff, this office was notified that a response was provided, dated October 12, 2016. Whereas this matter was opened based upon the Department's failure to provide a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Carr may appeal the substantive nature ofthe Department's response within ninety (90) days.
