Williams Supervisor ofR ecords October 13, 2016 SPR16/819 Mr. Dion Irish, Commissioner City of Boston Election Department 1 City Hall Square, Room 241 Boston, MA 02201-2008 Dear Mr. Irish: I have received the petition of Don Saklad appealing the nonresponse of the Boston Election Department (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66 § 1O (b ); see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(2). Specifically, Mr. Saklad requested copies of the written descriptions of the City of Boston precinct boundaries. An initial response was provided on September 12, 2016, but no further communication was provided and Mr. Saklad petitioned this office. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of my staff, this office was notified that a response was provided, dated October 3, 2016. Whereas this matter was opened based upon the Department's failure to provide a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Saklad may appeal the substantive nature of the Department's response within ninety (90) days.
