Morgan appealing the nonresponse of Town of Ashland- Town Clerk (Town) to an August 4, 2016 request for public records. G. L. c. 66 § 10(b); see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(2). Specifically, Mr. Morgan requested the minutes of Ashland's Board of Selectmen meeting held on August 3, 2016 as well as all versions of the agenda for this meeting with posting times and dates shown and any other documents relating to this meeting. Though the minutes have been posted on the Town's website, the documents relating to it have not been provided to Mr. Morgan. Having received no further response Mr. Morgan appealed. I find the Town of Ashland-Town Clerk has failed to respond to a request for public records. Accordingly, the Town of Ashland-Town Clerk is hereby ordered to provide Mr. Morgan with a response to the request, prepared in a manner consistent with this order, the Public Records Law and its Regulations. A copy of any such response must be provided to this office.
