Morgan appealing the nomesponse of Town of Ashland- Town Manager (Town) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66 § 1O (b ); see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(2). Specifically, Mr. Morgan requested specific documents used in the recent "Finance Committee" meeting. Mr. Morgan also requested information and documents relating to a "free cash figure/balance sheet" that was introduced at the same meeting. Having received no response, Mr. Morgan appealed. Order Subsequent to the opening of this appeal, you communicated with a member of my staff regarding Mr. Morgan's outstanding public records requests. It is my understanding that you are aware of the outstanding requests by Mr. Morgan, and that you are endeavoring to review and provide written responses. Accordingly, I will consider this administrative appeal closed with the proviso that the Town review Mr. Morgan's request and provide a written response to the request, prepared in a manner consistent with this order, the Public Records Law and its Regulations.
