General Counsel Executive Office of Public Safety and Security Office of the Chief Medical Examiner 720 Albany Street Boston, MA 02118 Dear Attorney Faherty: I have received the petition of Edwin Mejia appealing the nonresponse of the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66 § lO(b); see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(2). Specifically, Mr. Mejia requested information regarding shifts per day at the Office. Having received no response, Mr. Mejia petitioned this office. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of my staff, this office was notified that a response was provided, dated September 26, 2016. Whereas this matter was opened based upon the Office's failure to provide a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Mejia may appeal the substantive nature of the Office's response within ninety (90) days.
