Ware Braintree Police Department 282 Union Street Braintree, MA 02184 Dear Lt. Ware: I have received the petition of Gennaro Pirone appealing the nonresponse of Town of Braintree- Police Department (Town) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66 § lO(b); see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(2). Specifically, Mr. Pirone requested, "Turret Tapes, police dispatch calls, specified contracts, and documents relating to vehicle inventory." Subsequent to the intervention by a member of my staff, this office was notified that a response was provided, dated October 18, 2016. Whereas this matter was opened based upon the Town of Braintree- Police Department's (Town) failure to provide a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Gennaro Pirone may appeal the substantive nature of the Town of Braintree- Police Department's (Town) response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(2).
