The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Shawn A Williams Supervisor ofR ecords October 20, 2016 SPR16/882; SPR16/883 Rebecca Acerra Administrative Secretary Board of Selectmen Town of Warren 48 High Street P.O. Box 609 Warren, MA 01083 Dear Ms. Acerra: I have received the petition of Mary C. Bellerose appealing the response of Town of Warren (Town) to requests for public records made both to the Board of Selectmen (Board) and Police Department (Department). G. L. c. 66 § 10(b); see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(2). Both the Board and the Department responded to Ms. Bellerose; thereupon Ms. Bellerose appealed. In her requests, Ms. Bellerose seeks information related to a particular incident, further referring to copies of records appended to her request. It is unclear from review what it is that Ms. Bellerose seeks from the Town. I find the Board and Department each did its best to respond to Ms. Bellerose's request, further requesting clarification from Ms. Bellerose in an effort to assist in providing any responsive records. I find the Board and Department properly responded to a request for public records. If Ms. Bellerose wishes to do so she is encouraged to write a new request, specifically identifying any incident to which any records may relate. Ms. Bellerose i further encouraged to contact either the Town or this office for additional assistance. ours, Supervisor of Records cc: Mary C.
