Assistant General Counsel City of Gloucester City Hall, 9 Dale A venue Gloucester, MA 01930 Dear Attorney Basu: I have received the petition of Phillip Marcelo appealing the response of the City of Gloucester (City) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66 § 10(b); see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(2). Specifically, Mr. Marcelo requested records related to a particular City employee. The City provide records and withheld others and Mr. Marcelo appealed. In an October 20, 2016 telephone conversation, you explained that the City is revisiting this request and intends to provide a revised response. Accordingly, I will consider this administrative appeal closed with the proviso that such response be provided to Mr. Marcelo, prepared in a manner consistent with this order, the Public Records Law and its Regulations. A copy of any such response must be provided to this office. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at re sec.state.
