Lurie, Esq., appealing the response of the City of Boston (City) to his request for public records. G. L. c. 66 § lO(b); see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(2). Specifically, Attorney Lurie requested records from the City regarding Boston Grand Prix IndyCar. This request was the subject of a previous appeal. See SPR16/703 Determination of the Supervisor of Records (September 16, 2016). In response to Determination SPR16/703, the City provided Attorney Lurie with a privilege log regarding information the city intends to withhold under a claim of attorney-client privilege. Attorney Lurie's current petition challenges certain entries contained in the log. I understand a member of my staff contacted your office about this matter and provided you with a copy of the file related to this appeal. You confirmed the City would provide Attorney Lurie with a detailed response addressing his concerns. Whereas, this matter was opened based upon the City's response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Attorney Lurie may appeal the substantive nature of the City's response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R 32.08(2). A copy of any such response must be provided to this office.
