Richard City of Leominster - Comptroller City Hall 25 West Street Leominster, MA 01453 Dear Mr. Richard: I have received the petition of Anthony J. Bilotta appealing the response of the City of Leominster-Comptroller (City) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66 § 1O (b ); see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(2). On September 29, 2016, Mr. Bilotta requested a copy of athletic expenditures for each MIAA recognized high school sport for the period of July 1, 2014 through June 30, 2015. Initially, the City failed to provide Mr. Bilotta with a written response and/or written estimate for the costs of providing records within ten (1 0) days. Under the Public Records Law and the Access Regulations (Regulations) all requests for public records must be met with a response within ten (10) days ofthe request. G. L. c. 66, § 10(b); 950 C.M.R. 32.05. After the intervention of a member of my legal staff, you provided Mr. Bilotta with a response on November 4, 2016, and Mr. Bilotta informed this office that he is satisfied with the City's response. Accordingly, whereas the City has responded, I will consider this appeal closed. n A. Williams Supervisor of Records cc: Anthony J.
