G. L. c. 66 § 1O (b ); see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(2). Specifically, Ms. Avalle requested eight (8) categories of documents relating to a motor vehicle accident that occurred on September 19, 2016. Having received no response, Ms. Avalle petitioned this office. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of my staff, it was agreed upon that the Department would issue Ms. A valle a response to her request without delay. Whereas this matter was opened based upon the Department's failure to provide a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Avalle may appeal the substantive nature of the Department's response within ninety (90) days.
