Williams Supervisor of Records November 23, 2016 SPR16/1070 Robert Lanciani Building Commissioner City of Fitchburg 166 Boulder Drive Fitchburg, MA 01420 Dear Mr. Lanciani: I have received the petition ofRoy 'Skip' Bourque appealing the nonresponse of the Fitchburg Building & Zoning Department (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66 § 10(b); see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(2). Specifically, Mr. Bourque requested four (4) separate categories of records concerning specific addresses. Having received no response, Mr. Bourque petitioned this office. Subsequent to the opening of this appeal, this office received a letter from Mr. Bourque dated November 19, 2016 in which he explains that he received a response from the Department dated November 17, 2016 and no longer wishes to pursue this appeal.
