The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Shawn A. Williams Supervisor ofR ecords November 23, 2016 SPR16/1072 Jacqueline A. Brown Town of Freetown Town Clerk 3 North Main Street, P.O. Box 438 Freetown, MA 02702 Dear Ms. Brown: I have received the petition of Patrick Higgins appealing the nonresponse of the Town of Freetown (Town) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66 § 10(b); see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(2). Specifically, Mr. Higgins requested a date and time to inspect Open Meeting Law certificates for all current elected and appointed officials. Having received no response, Mr. Higgins petitioned this office. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of my staff, this office was notified that you had never received Mr. Higgins' original request as the Town's email servers have been down since November 11, 2016. As you have not received Mr. Higgins request, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Higgins is advised that he may resubmit his request to the Town by mail, fax, or hand-delivery. The mailing address and fax number are below. Ms. Jacqueline A.
