Williams Supervisor of Records December 16, 2016 SPR16/1130 Lieutenant Mike Anderson Town of Chatham - Police Department 249 George Ryder Road Chatham, MA 02633 Dear Lieutenant Anderson: I have received the petition of David Bixby appealing the response of Town of Chatham (Town) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66 § lO(b); see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(2). Specifically, Mr. Bixby requested records regarding possible charges of harassment. See also SPR16/841 Determination of the Supervisor of Records (October 18, 2016). I understand the Town provided Mr. Bixby with forty (40) pages ofrecords in person. In an email dated December 5, 2016, Mr. Bixby informed this office he objects to various aspects of the Town's response. I understand an attorney on my staff contacted you about this matter and provided a copy of the file associated with this appeal. You indicated the Department would provide a supplemental response that addresses the issues Mr. Bixby raises. Conclusion Accordingly, I will consider this appeal closed with the proviso that the Department provide Mr. Bixby a supplemental response to his request. This response must be prepared in compliance with this order, the Public Records Law and its Regulations, and must include a statement about what was provided and what is left to be provided. A copy of any such response must be provided to this office. It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at pre@sec~state.ma.us.
