The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Shawn A Williams Supervisor ofR ecords December 16, 2016 SPR16/ll31 Mr. William D. Cox, Esq. City Solicitor's Office City of Haverhill 145 South Main Street Bradford, MA 01835 Dear Attorney Cox: I have received the petition of Ronald M. MacLeod appealing the response of the City of Haverhill (City) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66 § 1O (b ); see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(2). Specifically, Mr. MacLeod requested copy of "the annual traffic safety report that was submitted to you in July 2016." You had initially responded indicating that no such report has been produced since the 1970s. Mr. MacLeod appealed your response. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of my staff, this office was notified by you that a revised response will be provided. Whereas this matter was opened based upon the Town's initial response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. MacLeod may appeal the substantive nature of the Town's response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(2). ·Iiams cc: Mr. Ronald M.
