The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Shawn A. Williams Supervisor ofR ecords December 13, 2016 SPR16/1151 Andrea Grossman Director of Public Affairs Department of Children & Families 600 Washington Street Boston, MA 02111 Dear Ms. Grossman: I have received the petition of Attorney Tony DeMarco appealing the response of The Department of Children and Families (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66 § lO(b); see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(2). Specifically, Attorney DeMarco requested copies of"all information relative to the provider service contract between the Department of Children & Families and the JRI run Evolution program and The Grip Program." Subsequent to the intervention by a member of my staff, I was informed that the Department will provide Attorney DeMarco with a response to his request. Accordingly, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed with the proviso that the Department provide said response without delay, consistent with the Public Records Law and its Regulations. Attorney DeMarco may appeal the substantive nature of the Department's response within ninety (90) days.
