G. L. c. 66 § IO(b); see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(2). Specifically, Attorney Erkan requested records related to Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) policies and procedures for the detention of arrestees. Having received no response, Attorney Erkan petitioned this office. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of my staff, this office was notified that a response was provided, dated November 28, 2016, and sent again on December 9, 2016. Whereas this matter was opened based upon EOPSS's failure to provide a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed.
