Wilson City Clerk City of Springfield 36 Court Street, Room 204 Springfield, MA 01103 Dear Mr. Wilson: I have received the petition of John M. Thompson, Esq. appealing the nomesponse of the City of Springfield-City Clerk (City) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66 § 1O (b ); see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(2). Specifically, Mr. Thompson requested a copy of certain records from the Internal Investigation Unit of the City's Police Department. Having received no response, Attorney Thompson petitioned this office. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of my staff, this office was notified by the City that records and a written response were provided on December 19, 2016. Accordingly, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed.
