G. L. c. 66 § 1O (b ); see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(2). Specifically, Ms. Hurwitz requested copies of certain class materials. Having not received material for the entire school year, Ms. Hurwitz appealed to this office. I understand a member of my staff contacted your office about this matter and provided you with a copy ofthe file related to this appeal. You indicated the City ofNewton Law Department (Department) would provide Ms. Hurwitz with a supplemental response regarding this matter. Accordingly, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed with the proviso that the Department provide Ms. Hurwitz with a supplemental response to her request made in accordance with the Public Records Law and its Regulations. Ms. Hurwitz may appeal the substantive nature of the Department's response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R 32.08(2).
