Dear Mr. Guerino:

I have received the petition of Attorney William Shay appealing the response of the Town of Bourne (Town) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66 § 10(b); see also 950 C.M.LR. 32.08(2). Specifically, Attorney Shay requested copies of any records from the Town pertinent to his prior correspondence within the Town, various requests pertinent to trash collection within the Town, and information relating to PW-2015-02, condominium complexes, and trailer parks.

Subsequent to the intervention by a member of my staff, I was informed that the Town provided Attorney Shay with an initial response dated October 19, 2016 in which some of his requests had already been addressed. Furthermore, | learned that the Town plans to provide Attorney Shay with a supplemental response. I will now consider this administrative appeal closed with the proviso that the Town provides said response without delay to Attorney Shay. Attorney Shay may appeal the substantive nature of the Town’s response with ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(2).
