Office of the Governor - Legal Office State House, Room 271 Boston, MA 0213 3 Dear Attorney Judd-Stein: I have received the petition of Andrew Ryan of The Boston Globe appealing the response of Governor's Legal Office (Office) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66 § 1O (b ); see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(2). Specifically, Mr. Ryan made three (3) requests for copies of text messages (SMS, iMessage, BBM, etc.) emails, related attachments and other documents sent to or from several individuals for specified time. periods. The basis of Mr. Ryan's petition was the substance ofthe Office's October 31, 2016. It is my understanding the Office provided Mr. Ryan with a supplemental response to his three (3) requests on January 9th, 2016. Accordingly, I will consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Ryan may appeal the substantive nature of the Office's most current response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1 ). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
