Murray Supervisor ofR ecords January 12, 2017 SPR17/054 Patrick Higgins Dear Mr. Higgins: I have received your petition appealing the response of City of Springfield- Law Department (Department) to your request for public records. The requirements for an appeal are follows: Such appeal shall be in writing, and shall include a copy of the letter by which the request was made and, if available, a copy of the letter by which the custodian responded. The Supervisor shall accept an appeal only from a person who had made his or her record request in writing. 950 CMR 32.08 (8) (1 ). In order for this office to proceed with your petition you must send a copy of the original request letters you sent to the Town.
