Murray Supervisor ofR ecords January 13, 2017 SPR17/069 Lia Fahey Records Access Officer Massachusetts Division of Banks 10 00 Washington Street, 1oth Floor Boston, Ma 02118 Dear Ms. Fahey: I have received the petition of Carlo Cellai appealing the response of Massachusetts Division of Banks (Division) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66 § 1 OA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Attorney Cellai requested copies of records from the Division pertaining to a client, Loan Science, LLC. Having not received a response, Attorney Cellai petitioned this office. · Subsequent to intervention by a member of my staff, I learned that the Division has provided Attorney Cellai with a response sent via email dated January 11, 2017. Whereas this matter was opened basis ofthe Division's failure to provide a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Attorney Cellai may appeal the substantive nature of the Division's response within ninety (90) days. See C.M.R. 32.08(1). Attorney Cellai should be advised that for future appeals, the original request for records must be included with a submission for any appeal. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1)(8) Sincerely, ·~~ Rebecca S.
