Murray Supervisor ofR ecords February 10, 2017 SPR17/189 Mr. Theodore Lorenz Dear Mr. Lorenz: I have received your petition appealing the response of Town of Natick- Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66 § 1O A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, you are appealing the substantive nature of the Department's letter of response, dated January 12, 2017. Please be advised that your letter of appeal to this office was missing crucial parts. G.L. c. 66 § lO(b ); see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1 )(g). Please be advised that a request for an appeal to the Supervisor of Records shall include a complete copy of the letter by which the request was ·made, including in the case of electronic communications all header information indicating time, date, subject, sender and recipient email addresses; and a complete copy of all written responses associated with requests subject to the petition for appeal, including in the case of electronic communications all header information indicating time, date, subject, [a nd] sender and recipient email addresses. Please note that you did not include the original public records request you made to the Department, only the letter of response. See id. Accordingly, I am unable to assist you in this matter.
