Box 100 Walpole, MA 02071 Dear Ms. Markham: I have received the petition of William Murray appealing the nomesponse of the Massachusetts Department of Correction (DOC) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66 § lO(A); see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Murray requested "All confidential incident reports written by three (3) specifically identified individuals" for the entire calendar year of 2016. Having yet to receive a substantial response, Mr. Murray petitioned this office. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of my staff, this office was notified that the DOC has sent the requested documents to the legal department for review. Once revisions have been made, the DOC has agreed to provide Mr. Murray with a response. Whereas this matter was opened based upon the DOC's failure to provide a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed with the proviso that Mr. Murray receives a response to his request without delay. Mr. Murray may appeal the substantive nature of the DOC's response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(2). Sincerely, ~~ Rebecca S.
