The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor ofR ecords February 22, 2017 SPR17/221 Andrea L. Stone City of Springfield Law Department 36 Court Street Room 210 Springfield, MA 01103 Dear Ms. Stone: I have received the petition of Dan Glaun appealing the response of the City of Springfield- Law Department (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66 § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Glaun requested "The major crimes unit and internal affairs unit investigation reports into the alleged assault on Island Pond Road on April 8, 2015." Having received no response, Mr. Glaun petitioned this office. Subsequent to an intervention by a member of my staff, this office was notified that a response was provided, dated February 22, 2017. Whereas this matter was opened based on the Department's failure to provide a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Glaun may appeal the substantive nature of the Department's response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, 1JJJfMA Rebecca S.
