The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor ofR ecords March 08, 2017 SPR17/246 Patricia Dzuris Town of Chelmsford -Assistant Town Clerk 50 Billerica Road Chelmsford, MA O1 824 Dear Ms. Dzuris: I have received the petition of Stanley Mazurczyk appealing the response of the Town of Chelmsford (Town) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66 § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Mazurczyk requested records pertaining to "complaints filed against (Town Manager, Paul Cohen)." Initially on May 16, 2016, the Town made several responses by email to Mr. Mazurczyk. Contending that the Town was "deliberately concealing adverse records," Mr. Mazurczyk petitioned this office to "instruct the Town to provide revised reasonable cost estimate and/or provide access to view ALL public records in question." Subsequent to the intervention by a member of the Public Records Division staff, I was informed that the Town provided a supplemental response that contains a fee estimate on March 3, 2017. I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Mazurczyk may appeal the substantive nature of the Town's response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08. Sincerely, Rebecca S.
