The Commonwealth ofMassachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor ofR ecords March 13, 2017 SPR17/285 Mr. Shawn Williams, Esq. City of Boston Law Department One City Hall Square, Room 620 Boston, MA 02201 Dear Attorney Williams: I have received the petition of Mr. Peter Vickery, Esq., of MassLandLords appealing the nonresponse of the City of Boston (City) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66 § 1O A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Attorney Vickery requested copies of records related to the statement issued December 5, 2016 titled "Mayor Walsh Files Jim Brooks Community Stabilization Act." Having not received a written response to this request Attorney Vickery appealed. On March 13, 2017, Attorney David Zuares of the City of Boston Law Department confirmed to a member of the Public Records Division staff that the City is in the process of providing Attorney Vickery with a response to his request. Whereas this appeal was based on the City's nonresponse, I will consider this administrative appeal closed with the proviso that the City provides said response without delay. Attorney Vickery may appeal the substantive nature of the City's response within ninety (90) days. 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). It is preferable to send an electronic copy of this response to this office at pre(a)sec.state.ma.us. Sincerely, Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records cc: Mr. Peter Vickery, Esq.
