The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor of Records March 16, 2017 SPR17/296 Christine O'Donnell, Esq. Compliance Director & Staff Counsel Boston City Council, 5th Floor Boston City Hall 1 City Hall Square Boston, MA 02201 Dear Attorney O'Donnell: I have received the petition of Don Saklad appealing the nonresponse of the Boston City Council (Council) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66 § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Saklad requested the additional file for converting the stenographic record to the English language from machine language. Having received no response, Mr. Saklad petitioned this office. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of the Public Records Division staff, this office was notified that a response was provided, dated March 15, 2017. Whereas this matter was opened based upon the Council's failure to provide a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Saklad may appeal the substantive nature of the Council's response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, · ~ ~ { } Rebecca S.
