Murray Supervisor of Records March 17, 2017 SPR17/308 Helene Bettencourt Chief of Staff Department of Elementary and Secondary Education 7 5 Pleasant Street Malden, MA 021448 Dear Ms. Bettencourt: I have received the petition of Andrew Mclsaac appealing the response of the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66 § 1O (b ); see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(2). Specifically, Mr. Mclsaac requested "all high school equivalency transcripts created in February 2017." Mr. Mclsaac is appealing the Department's response. Subsequent to the intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I understand that a representative from the Department was contacted and informed this office that the Department intends to provide a supplemental response. Accordingly, I will consider this administrative appeal closed with the proviso that the Department provide said response with ten (10) business days. Mr. Mclsaac may appeal the substantive nature of the Department's response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(2). Sincerely, ~~ Rebecca S.
