G. L. c. 66 § 1O A; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Handwerker requested a copy of the "2017 Medical Marijuana Trust Fund Annual Report." I understand that a member of my staff contacted the Department about this appeal. Subsequent to intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that the Department contacted Mr. Handwerker via email on March 16, 2017 and provided a response. Given that this appeal was opened due to the Department's lack of response and a subsequent response has been provided, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Handwerker may appeal the substantive nature of the Department's response within ninety (90) days.
