Murray Supervisor ofR ecords March 22, 2017 SPR17/342 Mr. Rodney Maloney Dear Mr. Maloney: I have received your petition appealing the response of the Town of Hinsdale- Select Board (Board) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66 § lO(b); see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, you are appealing the Board's decision to withhold the records you had requested. Please be advised that your letter of appeal to this office was missing crucial parts. G.L. c. 66 § 1 O(b ); see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1 )(g). Please be advised that a request for appeals to the Supervisor of Records shall include a complete copy of the letter by which the request was made, including in the case of electronic communications all header information indicating time, date, subject, sender and recipient email addresses; and a complete copy of all written responses associated with requests subject to the petition for appeal, including in the case of electronic communications all header information indicating time, date, subject, [and] sender and recipient email addresses. Please note that you did not include a copy of your original request to the board or any other correspondence regarding this appeal. See id. As no such copy was provided, I am unable to assist you in this matter. You may appeal the substantive nature of the Board's response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1 ).
