Murray Supervisor ofR ecords March 24, 2017 SPR17/362 Kelly Merrill Executive Assistant to the Town Administrator Town of Townsend 272 Main Street Townsend, MA 01469 Dear Ms. Merrill: I have received the petition of Veronica Kell appealing the nonresponse of the Town of Townsend (Town) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66 § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Ms. Kell requested "a copy of the approved minutes of all executive sessions held in open session during the Board of Selectmen's meeting on June 7, 2017." Claiming to not yet have received a response, Ms. Kell petitioned this office and this appeal was opened as a result. Subsequent to intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that the Town plans to provide Ms. Kell with a response. Accordingly, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed with the proviso that said response is provided on or before April 4, 2017. Ms. Kell may appeal the substantive nature of the Town's response within ninety (90) days. See C.M.R. 32.08(2).
