G. L. c. 66 § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Corriveau requested a copy of the Town's Police Department's 2016 budget, as well as a breakdown of the Police Department's spending. Subsequent to intervention by a staff member of the Public Records Division, I learned that a representative from the Town, acting as liaison for the Police Department already provided a response to a request dated January 29, 2017 in which Mr. Corriveau requested the exact same information. In the February 7, 2017 response, the Town provided Mr. Corriveau with a fee estimate of $6.50. Contingent on payment, the Town would provide Mr. Corriveau with the records. To date, the Town claims that Mr. Corriveau has not yet paid the fee to attain the records. Nonetheless, I find that the Town satisfied the obligation of providing Mr. Corriveau with a satisfactory response. Accordingly, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed.
