Office of the Chief Legal Counsel Department of State Police 470 Worcester Road Framingham, MA 01702 Dear Mr. Rooney: I have received the petition of Lisa Munger appealing the nomesponse of the Department of State Police Office of the Chief Legal Counsel (Office) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66 § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Ms. Munger requested all documents and files regarding a specifically identified incident. Having received no response, Ms. Munger petitioned this office. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of the Public Records Division staff, this office was notified that a response was provided, dated March 31, 2017. Whereas this matter was opened based upon the Office's failure to provide a written response, I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Ms. Munger may appeal the substantive nature of the Office's response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Sincerely, Rebecca S.
