Luth: I have received the petition of Everett Carlson appealing the nonresponse of the Town of Lunenburg Police Department (Department) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66 § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1). Specifically, Mr. Carlson requested police reports pertaining to his arrests on or about December 31, 2012 and April 26, 2013. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of the Public Records Division staff, I was informed that you previously did not receive a copy of this request. Now that you have received a copy of the appeal file through this office, I understand that you will provide a response to Mr. Carlson without delay.
