The Commonwealth of Massachusetts William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth Public Records Division Rebecca S. Murray Supervisor ofR ecords April 28, 2017 SPR17/528 Patricia Dzuris Town of Chelmsford - Assistant Town Clerk 50 Billerica Road Chelmsford, MA O1 824 Dear Ms. Dzuris: I have received the petition of Stanley Mazurczyk appealing the response of the Town of Chelmsford (Town) to a request for public records. G. L. c. 66 § lOA; see also 950 C.M.R. 32.08(1 ). Specifically, Mr. Mazurczyk requested records pertaining to "complaints filed against a named individual. Initially on May 16, 2016, the Town made several responses by email to Mr. Mazurczyk. On March 3, 2017, Town also provided a fee estimate for the records he requested. Believing that the Town continues to withhold records, Mr. Mazurczyk petitioned this office. Additionally, Mr. Mazurczyk wants the Town to provide a revised fee estimate that is reflective of the request further clarified in his April 19, 2017 petition to this office. The Town was sent a copy on April 2J1h. Subsequent to the intervention by a member of the Public Records Division staff, I was informed that the Town will provide a supplemental response and a revised fee estimate, made in accordance to this order, the Public Records Law and its Regulations. I will now consider this administrative appeal closed. Mr. Mazurczyk may appeal the substantive nature of the Town's response within ninety (90) days. See 950 C.M.R. 32.08.
